DigiDiva Dialogs
the digital safety information you need - delivered just the way you need it
For parents, corporate events and community groups programming includes a review of current digital threats, an app review and information about how kids use and think about social media issues.
In middle and high school it's time to have more serious discussions about device safety, digital threats and the reasons why it's important to manage our social media image. We'll also discuss how to find help in case of emergency.
Programming for elementary students includes a basic introduction to social media and gaming safety, a discussion of the most popular digital dilemmas and how and where to find help when
there is a problem.
Some of the apps shown here are intentionally not labeled. I would prefer the young people who haven't already been there not find them.
Clearly no message will reach every child. However, when a message is crafted with a student's developmental capabilities in mind the likelihood of success (and retention) increases. That's why DigiDiva Dialogs offers unique programming for each level of digital life - for our youngest and most concrete thinkers, our middle school mavericks and mavens and for the high school student who should be looking forward to employment opportunities and college admissions. And, lest we forget - parents and educators dealing with a deluge of new apps, digital drama and concern for their children's safety.
